With the years of experience under our belt Hazelwood occasionally work as sub-contractors, we were invited to work with a well established firm based in Dartford…
A large multi-stemmed ash tree that was rooted in a steep bank was over hanging the tea room at Igtham Mote. The tree had shed some branches, luckily not over the tea room!
Having carefully considered the options, the decision was taken to remove the tree to ground level in the interests of health & safety.
A crane was used to lift sections of the tree up the bank over the maintenance yard and laid in the car park for processing. The brushwood was chipped and removed from site and the timber stacked in lengths for future use to heat the Great Hall.
